The Opportunity

This role is key to enabling the scalability and growth of manufacturing operations aligned with strategic business priorities in the Rochester factory.

Reporting to the Lean Manager, this role is placed within the Operations team where you will work cross functionally with key process stakeholders to drive process improvement.

In this role you will design, implement and document shop floor processes, leveraging best manufacturing practices from our global facilities, specify and implement tolling, fixtures, and other capital equipment, support line layout and redesign projects, and troubleshoot and fix manufacturing equipment. You will partake in continuous improvement events, providing technical support with problem investigations, and help develop and implement resolutions, suggesting new processes and equipment where applicable.

This role would suit a proactive and resourceful candidate who is motivated by problem solving and driving solutions forward. You must be a team player with the ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently and have an analytical mind with a bias for action.

Experience Requirements

• Experience within a manufacturing/production engineering environment
• Experience using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of new product introduction
