In this role you will:

  • Support manufacturing KPI initiatives in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity through daily management and lean production tools
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in New Product Development and Introduction Projects (NPD/NPI). Drive Design for Manufacturability, aimed at improving product quality and reliability, while reducing variation.
  • Ability to Design, Build, Program and Launch Assembly/Testing Processes & Equipment.
  • The ability to work individually and in a team lead setting
  • Monitors and debugs production and test methods and procedures to ensure system efficiencies.
  • Interface with vendors to evaluate and select purchase parts and production equipment.
  • Monitor, report and lead the effort to improve productivity and quality metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY) and External

Valid Warranty PPM

  • Define quality problems, investigate to root cause, verify, and implement countermeasures and ensure sustainment using statistical methods and problem solving
  • Provides input and recommendations for the identification and selection of continuous improvement projects.
  • Champion lean manufacturing practices and principles. Lead Kaizen events.
  • Develop critical to quality specifications, test plans, procedures, tools, and meaningful metrics to control all aspects of manufacturing and new product launch initiatives
  • Manage and drive manufacturing readiness in all phases of the new product introduction process to meet or exceed launch schedules
  • Assist the sourcing and supplier quality teams in developing external suppliers to achieve specified quality, costing, and delivery requirements.
  • Experience with PCBA manufacturing and troubleshooting, a plus
  • Board test fixture development (design and build), a plus

On your first day, we’ll expect that you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in engineering is preferred. Candidates with concentrations in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred.
  • 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of electrical programming, assembly, and testing. SaaS experience a PLUS.
  • Experience using electronic equipment, including but not limited to, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and ammeters.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma principles
  • Experience creating, reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and data driven problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a process oriented, rapidly changing, fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Clear, concise written and oral communication skills
