Position Overview: Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for Manufacturing Assembly Associates to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment. We are looking for microwave electronics assemblers with: <ul> <li>1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.</li> <li>Multiple shift Schedules: First and second shift positions available</li> <li>All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the complex assembly requirements of microwave systems. </li> <li>This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope. </li> <li>Communication skills and a high energy and commitment to quality products are extremely important.</li> <li>This role includes working on continuous improvement teams along with development engineering and manufacturing.</li> <li>All candidates will have the opportunity to be trained in soldering to IPC-610 as well as other skills using internal resources and certified outside trainers.</li> </ul> Requirements: The Manufacturing Assembly Associate position requires a high school diploma. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus. <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Must be a US citizen and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.</li> <li>Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation.</li> <li>Operation of a computer</li> <li>Commitment to learn and develop new skills</li> <li>Security clearance is required (application will be done through ADI)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Specific Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assembly of microwave subassemblies using hybrid techniques.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>In process inspection and self-inspection.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.</li> <li>Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.</li> <li>Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.</li> <li>Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.</li> <li>Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings. and work instructions as well as other job activities.</li> </ul> Why work at ADI: At ADI we offer the best in manufacturing capability and teamwork and continuous improvement, while requiring a commitment to work ethically and with attention to quality.
