Waikiki Beach Activities is Hilton Hawaii Village Hotel's exclusive beach service, providing a complete range of beach rental equipment, retail products, and water sport activities. The company also provides Towel service and Pool Attendants for various pools around the property.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual looking to gain experience in the Hospitality industry to report to the Director of Operations and HR of our company.

The individual would train to become an Assistant Manager who would provide support in several areas including but not limited to the following:

  • Perform a variety of clerical duties including filing, answering phones, taking reservations, maintain personnel records etc. for the HR Department
  • Supervise staff and ensure team proactively manages customer needs and exceeds expectations
  • Assist with training and development
  • Help create a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Assist director in managing staff as directed
  • Follows all company policies and procedures & notifies management of any infractions
  • Assist with the recruitment and orientation process
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts which include external job board posting and setting up interviews

Full time and weekend availability a must. Must be available and willing to work holidays.

Leadership experience a plus but willing to train the right person.

Compensation:

Starting base pay $20 per hour

Requirements:

  • Office administration or relevant work experience
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to learn new skills and gain experience
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Comfortable working in an office and outside in a beach environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • 2 year customer service experience minimum
