We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings, common areas, and grounds. This role will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all units and common areas are in good condition for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on apartments, common areas, and grounds, including but not limited to: painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely manner.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Maintain and repair community amenities such as pools, fitness centers, and other recreational facilities.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of equipment and appliances.
- Communicate with property management and maintenance staff to identify maintenance needs and provide recommendations for repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
