A locally owned and operated Subway Franchise Owner is searching for a Maintenance and Repair Technician in the Kitsap/Pierce county area to service our 19 Subway locations. We are looking for a candidate willing to work days as well as overnight. As a Maintenance and Repair technician you will schedule and complete maintenance actions to all associated restaurant equipment. Diagnose and repair ovens, warmers and other restaurant appliances and equipment. Having experience or certification with HVAC and Refrigeration preferred. Excellent time management and self-motivation skills required. Must have the ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate and accomplish repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate, perform quality work in a safe manner and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service to our Subway locations.

• Relevant maintenance experience preferred or an equivalent combination general mechanical aptitude and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed.
• Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, managers, or vendors to exchange or convey information as well as give and receive work direction.
• Performing activities such as dusting, waxing floors, cleaning grease traps etc.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Basic knowledge of Refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and experience pulling a trailer (valid license required)
• Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling throughout the day.
• Ability to climb up and down stairs/ ladders.
