MadJax Social Media Coordinator Job at Nivel
Essential Functions
- Stand up MadJax brand social media presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
- Shoot, edit, and regularly post new content on all social media platforms. Content will encompass a range of formats including long and short form videos, reels, and static posts
- Write captions and hashtags for social media posts
- Develop a strong understanding of the MadJax product portfolio, and MadJax brand guidelines
- Develop and implement strategies to increase follower count and engagement rates
- Plan content at least 30 days out, and secure approvals from marketing leadership and other stakeholders
- Monitor social media platforms for trends, and identify which trends are relevant to the MadJax brand
- Prepare weekly reports for marketing leadership, including performance by platform, follower count, engagement rate, top & bottom performing content
- Analyze top and performing content and adjust content plan based on insights
- Engage with consumers on social media via liking and responding to comments, responding to messages, etc.
- Develop plan to secure user generated content, including contents and engagement with prospective influencers
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- 2-3 years’ experience managing social media for a brand
- Strong portfolio of brand social media content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Direct experience using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Knowledge of how to maximize equipment to shoot high-quality photos and videos (e.g. smartphone, tripod, portable lightboxes, external microphone, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro, or other similar editing tools
