WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Customer Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product flow from the our manufacturing & warehouse sites to the store shelves. They will act as an intermediary between Sales and Supply Planning teams to proactively anticipate any interruption in the customers expected supply of goods.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the US Sales team to support our customer experience by tracking orders, communicating delays to customers, assisting with date changes and appointment reschedules as needed. Will also update the Sales team when order moves are necessary, based on product availability by monitoring inventory and demand on a regular basis
- Review inventory and order patterns for their customer distribution centers and store on-hand inventories to identify opportunities to suggest top-up orders that will maintain an appropriate safety stock, and push volume for KPLP
- Be an SAP Super User with expertise in sourcing the information related to customer order status, inventory location, and future production
- Track orders in SAP and Business Warehouse systems, and taking rapid action with all internal and external stakeholders to address any major supply interruption
- Manage the promotional volume and order deployment process; including special packs, new distribution, in/outs, and seasonal items
- Initiate the communication with the Distribution departments and give instructions regarding the actions to follow concerning product allocation, loading priorities, change of delivery dates, etc..
- Drive efficiencies throughout the customer supply chain, and identifying potential cost savings opportunities that the supply chain and sales teams can act on accordingly
- Complete the tasks of managing the packing proposals, creating new ship to’s, resolving EDI, I-Trade and workflow issues and by doing all the IT testing required to improve efficiencies of the department
