The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring the flow of raw materials and finished products from suppliers to end customers. This position is also responsible for order transactions and coordinates timely delivery to meet customer requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Track final product shipments, costs, and timelines according to requirements
- Keep detailed, organized records of orders and stock
- Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies
- Review purchase orders to check for discrepancies and missing information
- Schedule shipment pickups utilizing freight forwarder or small parcel partner(s)
- Provide information to warehouse team staging shipments
- Generating and executing all logistics and distribution transactions in ERP
- Analyze data, and suggest modifications and improvements accordingly
- Creating bills of lading, and complete ship confirmation within ERP
- Obtain and provide a shipping quote and other shipment information to the order fulfillment specialist to ensure accurate quotes are provided to the customer
- Scan documents for shipments to account for proper invoicing
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management
- Coordinate material preparation and shipment, including associated paperwork, to meet on-time shipment metrics.
- Resolve shipment and inventory issues

QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Prior experience in inventory control
- Ability to multitask and track multiple processes throughout the supply chain
- Prior experience in export/import transportation
- Prior experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in a continuous manufacturing operation
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Computer skills required: Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite
