Literacy Coach Job at Calcasieu Parish School Board

Requirements include valid Louisiana teaching certificate with certification in English Language Arts; minimum of 3 effective years of experience as an ELA teacher; proven results working with struggling readers; detailed knowledge of how children learn to read; knowledge and experience working with high-quality reading curriculum; excellent communication skills and an understanding of how to facilitate growth in children and adults. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public.
