St. Joseph Village of Chicago is a faith based senior living community located in the Northwest side of Chicago. Our community provides a full continuum of care and services in a warm and friendly environment including: assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation and skilled nursing.

We currently seek highly motivated, energetic individuals who worked closely with Dementia residents to serve as the Life Enrichment Assistant (Activity Aid) at St. Joseph Village of Chicago. The LEA (Activity Aid) will develop, coordinate and implement a variety of activities and events for residents in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. The LEA will foster a welcoming atmosphere and a positive attitude consistent to our residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and/or assist with group and one on one activity programs
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities
• Complete assessments and progress notes necessary to be compliant with state and federal regulations
• Attends and participates in meetings such as in-services and other meetings as assigned
• Assist with volunteer management
• Maintain a neat and clean environment for residents including feeding and cleaning pets for pet therapy
• Look presentable and maintain a neat appearance.
• Foster an atmosphere of hospitality and customer service

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
