The MECCA Group, LLC (www.themeccagroupllc.com) has immediate openings for District licensed and certified clinical and counseling psychologists to provide supervision services as well as therapy and assessment services for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Experience with special needs populations and familiarity with IDEA desired, but not required. Experience working with underserved and populations of color highly desired. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group supervision for psychotherapy and psychological assessment and testing.
- rovide guidance and consultations to the staff as individuals and in group settings.
- Provide psychotherapy services, including private and school based.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, including private and school based.
- Review and edit documentation including progress notes and psychological evaluations.
- Assess professional capabilities.
- Attend meetings associated with school-based clients, including MDT and IEP meetings.
- Meet deadlines as designated by the company for submission of reports and notes.
- Maintain documentation for all therapy clients and assessments and provide the proper documentation in the EMR and updates to internal spreadsheet and to officers as requested.
- Attend trainings and workshops as required for professional development or mandated by contract, licensure, and APA.
- Maintain timely response to phone and email communications with all parties involved, including company, school personnel, and clients.
- Represent The MECCA Group, in the spirit in which the agency wishes you to represent them in meetings and various events.
Requirements:
- Doctoral Degree in related field: Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- At least three years post-doctoral experience providing therapy and varied psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.
- At least three years prior experience working in a clinical setting
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- At least two years of proven success in leadership roles
- At least one year experience working with special needs populations (preferred)
- Familiarity with IDEA, FERPA, and ADA (preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions.
- Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with patients, their families and other care providers.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Ability to delegate tasks as needed

Pay: $70,692.17 - $90,000.00 per year
