Interim Healthcare of NEPA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to cover a 1:1 male Trach client presently in a local group home. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Trach care and able to work independently.

Job details for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN, specializing in trach:

• Salary: Starting rate $30 per hour, with quarterly and referral bonus incentives

• Hours: 3a - 3p and 3p - 3a

• Case Details: Male Client. Trach Care. Group Home Setting.

• Job Location: Pittston, PA

• Weekly Pay via paper check or direct deposit

The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN provides effective and efficient patient care in accordance with the patient’s plan of care, applicable law and regulation, accepted standards of nursing practice, payor requirements and Interim HealthCare policies and procedures.

Essential Functions of the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN:

• Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.

• Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).

• Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition to the RN supervisor.

• Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare related needs.

• Completes timely and accurate clinical notes including addressing patient’s progress.

• Assists the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques.

Minimum Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN:

• Active nursing license in the State of Pennsylvania

• 1 year of experience in a personal care setting; required.

• Passion for working with the geriatric population

• Proof of CPR Training, or current certification; preferred

• Reliable form of transportation

• MUST be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings
