Licensed Mental Health Professional Job at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.
Our Mental Health facility is seeking a passionate and compassionate professional who is interested in treating patients with various mental health issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic treatments to patients as well as monitoring and evaluating patient progress. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to use their skills to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities: * Understand the need for confidentiality. * Make appropriate referrals for counseling, community resources, and related services. * Meet with clients and in some cases their families to discuss available treatment options and prognosis. * Provide crisis intervention, basic counseling, and referral services in a group format. * Establish an effective working relationship with clients, family, significant others, and significant others' family members. * Be able to discuss various treatment modalities; focus on client's family needs.,Provide verbal report on the clinical progress of patients to a team leader.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
