Job Summary:
- Interviews incoming doctor’s office/patient calls for information needed to schedule exams.
- Provides patient/doctor’s offices with the proper preparations, lab work if needed, and possible insurance preauthorization information.
- Exhibits the competencies listed below at a level of a subject matter expert capable of acting as a lead for the other staff and the function in general.
- Accepts projects and any additional duties as set forth by the supervisor.
Skills/Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of lead/supervisor experience preferred
- One year scheduling experience preferred.
