Lead Filling Technician - Weekend PM Shift Job at Lifecore Biomedical LLC
The Lead Aseptic Filling Technician is responsible for directing all day to day processing activities for filling operations. This includes scheduling and directing employees within the department, communicating expectations to the group, addressing questions or concerns of the group, and communicating day to day scheduling activities with outside departments. They will assist in the coordination of training for new technicians; adhere to written documentation requirements; demonstrate an operational understanding of applicable manufacturing equipment; demonstrate proficiency in all aseptic manufacturing operations; perform troubleshooting; utilize and enforce aseptic technique; audit completed batch records; assist in the revision of manufacturing documents.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (biology, microbiology, or chemistry preferred) or equivalent combination of education and/or technical training. A minimum of two years of medical, aseptic processing, cleanroom, or pharmaceutical experience with GMP/ISO knowledge. Experience in a leadership position strongly preferred. Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks to achieve the production schedule; receptive and adaptable to variations in work schedule and duties; strong mechanical aptitude; ability to effectively communicate both within the document as well as with support department; ability to qualify for cleanroom entry; demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train employees in process procedures and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 6:00pm - 6:30am
