This entry-level position starts at $15.00/hour with potential quarterly increases within the first year. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD SERVICE LEAD COOK

As an entry-level Food Service Supervisor, you are part of the backbone of our company that provides first-level interaction between management and the inmate workers. Providing supervision for trustees and inmate workers, you assist in the preparation of every meal. Under your leadership, they are well-trained and knowledgeable about all food-handling within the kitchen. You ensure that our company's recipes are followed, and specific meals are adjusted according to special diets. We are passionate about food safety and are always ready for inspections. You feel good about delivering high-quality meals to our customers!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOOD SERVICE LEAD COOK

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Leadership ability
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus but we can train the right person. Do you have integrity and a strong character? Are you positive with a can-do attitude?
