Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is a 142-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in Morris, Illinois. seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to work the Day shift, including alternating weekends.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Recent experience as a Laundry Aide in a long term care environment preferred.
- Should be familiar with the overall operations of the laundry department including operations of all equipment and the appropriate chemicals to use
- Should be able to deliver appropriate amounts of linen to all patient floors
- Should be able to wash and deliver cleaned resident clothing to the appropriate resident rooms
- Must be able to work in collaboration with the laundry and nursing teams
- Should have excellent customer service skills
