MAKING LIGHT WORK

The Mission

To prep, programme, operate and maintain ER Production's laser, special effects and pyrotechnics equipment on client shows, tours and at ER. Ensure that the event is delivered in line with ER Productions' high standards in terms of safety, design and professionalism.

The Role

· Prepare equipment for rental using the equipment allocated to the job via booking system

· Keep up to date with the latest programming techniques and software

· Ensure that any licences and certificates are maintained and valid

· Operate laser, special effects and pyrotechnics effects on shows, for days, weeks or months on tour both in the UK and around the world

· While on the road keep the equipment in full working order, repairing equipment where possible

· Advise the Operations Director and arrange replacement parts as required to keep the touring rig complete and operational with spares

· While at HQ warehouses, assist with maintenance, repairs, demo's, programming & R&D

· Be a brilliant Company ambassador when out on tour always being mindful of ER’s fantastic reputation

The Skill set

· Must have a thorough understanding of laser, SFX or lighting systems used in live events

· Have the ability to solder DMX cables and make and repair power cables from power con to three-phase connectors

· Computer literate and understanding of fixed IP address Netflix

· Experience at least two years experience working in live events preferably on touring shows with at least one year experience operating lighting SFX or lasers at live events

· Physically fit and able to lift for loading and unloading purposes

· Valid driving license

· Be creative and able to understand music
