Lab Technician Job at Kikkoman Foods Missouri, Inc.
Employed as a Laboratory technician, under direct supervision of QA manager, this position is primarily responsible for performing manual laboratory tasks and general office duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs regular chemical analysis (e.g. PH, acid, salt, sugar etc.) and microorganism test for food products
- Be a member of SQF team and perform related activities
- Maintains laboratory associated paperwork. Stocks laboratory supplies
- Cleans laboratory glassware. Disposes all laboratory waste (glass, bio-hazard, recycling, and collection waste, etc.)
- Assists with data entry, preparing documents, and administrative duties, as needed
- Understands and follows all procedures and processes required for work performed under Regulatory Compliance.
- Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required
The ideal candidate would possess:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Lab experiences is required
- Knowledge about chemicals analysis and handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
