GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to perform recruiting functions including posting, flyers and community outreach to cover all accounts under his/her umbrella.

  • Responsible for proper staffing levels at client’s facilities.

  • Trains subordinates in job skills, proper cleaning methods, and use of equipment, safety practices

  • Ensures all safety procedures are followed by all employees.

  • Supervisors are responsible for the proper handling of employee daily attendance via payroll systems.

  • Conducts daily inspections of site via Orange QC.

  • Daily client interaction and documentation of meetings

  • Consults with HR to ensure employees assigned to each account, meet all requirements.

  • Coordinates and oversees the Floor Care Program pertaining to the accounts requirements specified in the contract.

  • Inspects and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required

  • Inspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.

  • Monitors account supplies inventory to ensure cleaning employees have the necessary supply levels at all times.

  • Works closely with janitorial manager in resolving customer issues.

  • Confers with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies.

  • Prepares reports on activity, personnel, and information such as occupancy, hours worked, facility usage, work performed, and departmental expenses.

  • Recommends changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.

  • Evaluates employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals.


SPECIFIC TASKS:


EMPLOYEE ORIENTATIONS:

  • Monitor “New” Employee orientation Program.

EMPLOYEE SKILLS TRAINING:

  • Monitor employee skills training (floor care, general housekeeping, restroom care, carpet care, trash handling, pressure washing, etc) with the support of Area Supervisor.

QUALITY CONTROL:

  • Reviews Orange QC to ensure that deficiencies are corrected immediately.

PAYROLL:

  • Monitor daily payroll regular/overtime hours by following employee roster on a weekly basis.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

  • Work with SFM Area Supervisor to ensure safety compliance of:

  • Appropriate use of all Chemicals.

  • Appropriate use of all Equipment.

  • Appropriate use of cleaning skills.

PROJECT/PERIODIC WORK:

  • Monitor all schedules to track work performed including date completed.

FLEXIBILITY:

  • Work shift will be during Night Shift. Must be flexible and available to work day shift when requested by Area Supervisor.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

  • A knowledge of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, E-Mail, etc) is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School’s degree or equivalent Supervisor work experience
