IT Service Desk Technician - Sullivan Family of Companies Job at Foodland Super Market
We are seeking an entry level candidate with 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) support experience to join our team as IT Service Desk Technician for the Sullivan Family of Companies (Foodland, Food Pantry, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf).
The IT Service Desk Technician is an organized, self-motivated, and positive individual who takes ownership of job responsibilities. Dedication to providing outstanding customer service is essential for a successful candidate.
Job Duties
- Answer end user telephone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner
- Accurately record incident information using the Service Desk ticketing system
- Troubleshoot point-of-sale, application, hardware, telephone, and network incidents
- Escalate incidents to level 2 based on initial troubleshooting
- Computer and general IT equipment repairs
- Load Windows computers and applications based on specified company configurations
- Prepare point-of-sale system equipment
- Travel to company locations to perform break/fix work and troubleshoot incidents related to hardware, services, and network
Candidate Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Experience with PC hardware
- Remote application support
- Excellent interpersonal skills on the telephone and in person
- Applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds
- 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) experience
- 1 or more years of customer service experience
- Associate’s degree, A+, or similar technical certification preferred
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
- Applicant must have a valid Driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- Neighbor island travel as needed
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements including the dress code & wellness check policies
