Inventory Control Specialist
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify parts shortages from work order report errors.
• Report material movement in computerized ERP system.
• Create new inventory locations using bins and locations for new or existing SKU’s. Correctly update ERP system with the changes.
• Log assembly work orders on production status board.
• Review received materials required for work orders
• Cycle count parts to verify computerized inventory system counts.

• Maintain and organize inventory locations, including general housekeeping.
• Oversee Vendor Management System
• Work with Production and Service departments in completing inventory adjustment sheets
• Plan, lead and perform annual physical inventory
• Identify obsolete and/or slow-moving products
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with common warehouse and manufacturing processes such as
• A general knowledge of Windows based computer applications such as
• MAS500 (or other ERP systems) knowledge utilizing work orders/work
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Pays close attention to detail.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• High School or GED completion is required or related experience
• Minimum 1 – 3 years of inventory control or related experience
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
