Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support students in gaining proficiency by reinforcing topics introduced and assessed by the teacher of record.
- Assist students in accomplishing daily educational objectives, providing support in the form of individualized instruction, tutoring, small- or large-group work, computers, guided practice, or other techniques, as directed by the teacher and as established through co-planning.
- Assist students in completing work, which may be used by the teacher of record for class credit.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment in the classroom; may include assisting in communication of behavior and conduct expectations, administering discipline, and supporting the implementation of classroom or school-wide behavior management systems.
- With the teacher of record, plan enrichment activities, ensure enrichment activities are aligned with the teacher's goals, and coordinate the use of supplemental and supportive materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Evidence of successful experience in student and parent relations.
- Highly qualified in Math or ELA content area of focus
- Experience with data analysis
- Possession of - or ability to attain - a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
