JOB TITLE: Intervention Specialist
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
LOCATION: Hybrid Model - Position is based out of Suffolk County (Medford & Brentwood). Expectation is that the individual will be going into the field and seeing residents
DEPARTMENT: Residential Services
HOURS: 35 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
MA in Human Services –OR–BA in Human Services and 2 year experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Knowledge of residential services, substance abuse services, evidence based practices and psychiatric rehabilitation practice.Clean valid NY State Driver’s License. Fingerprinting and criminal record check.Approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
JOB FUNCTION:
Provide enhanced case management services and crisis intervention services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities living in the Supportive Scattered-Site Housing program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
