Inside Plant Advanced Level Technician Job at SRI Telecom
This is a lead level position in the Salt Lake City Valley area with pay to follow as you build your skill set. We are looking for driven personality with a can do attitude. ISP/Remote Hand Technician:
- Must be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic
- Strong troubleshooting abilities (both mechanical and software)
- Must be able to work well with all supervisory and managerial levels (Team members, customers and other contractors).
- Needs to be meticulous when it comes to paperwork and communication in all things.
- Advanced Network Knowledge is a plus as well as signal flow understanding.
- Knowledge and use of the following software & test equipment is a must - Google Suites, OTDR, basic optical test
- equipment (Light Source/Power Meter, visual fault locator, etc.)
- Must have reliable transportation
- If personal vehicle is used for work purposes, you will be compensated
- Ability to be on call 24/7/365
- Able to lift up to
- 80 lbs aided
- 40 lbs unaided
- Able to remain on feet for 8 hours at a time
- Use text and voice communications are also a must
- (English is the primary form of communication).
