About the Company
Translarity provides full wafer test solutions to the semiconductor industry. We are located in Fremont CA, Hutto, TX and in Taiwan. This is a temporary full-time role in the Fremont CA office and will report to the Director of Automation.
Position Purpose:
Translarity is looking for an Industrial automation engineer to work with a small team developing custom automated equipment for use in assembling full wafer test & verification systems for use in the semiconductor industry. This automated equipment incorporates servo driven multi-axis positioning, machine vision, small precise mechanisms and various control systems. A mechanical engineering background is preferred. True position dimension and tolerance concepts as well as the basics of determining process capability should be understood.
Software used includes SolidWorks, AutoCAD, LabView, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software PLC and HMI programming software, ACS Motion Control programming software, Visual Studio WPF, VB.net and C#, Cognex VisionPro software and Microsoft Office software including VBA.
This position will require some hands-on panel build, wiring and mechanical assembly work as well as mechanical design and programming/debug skills.
