Responsibilities:
- Companionship to clients
- Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands and activities
- Medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation
- Preparing meals and shopping for groceries or other essentials
- Personal Care Assistance and Services such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
- Homemaking and household chores/light duty cleaning
Caregiver Qualifications:
- Active HCA, CNA, or willingness to become certified- HCA Candidates welcome to apply (tuition assistance available)
- Empathy and the ability to care for the client's social, emotional, physical and mental health
- Help with personal care
- Proficient in some domestic chores such as preparing meals and cleaning
- Trained in specialized areas of care, for example, geriatrics, dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Open to working around pets and smoke
- Available for consistent shifts throughout the Tacoma area.
