Amazing Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. offers the greater Baltimore, MD area with professional HVAC contracting services. We are a family owned and operated company. We service all brands of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. We are currently seeking an Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team.

Areas served: Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince Georges County and Harford County

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating our first positive initial contact with our customers to determine their needs and book the appointments. We are especially looking for a special person who has experience in HVAC or other trades.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is responding to customers through different means of communication and creating a positive experience to book the appointments.
Communicates with customers to determine their needs

Creates service appointments or estimates for new systems

Perform Outbound calling to schedule maintenance visits

Maintains customer repair records using computer database to give detailed history of the work performed at their sites.
Maintains and update service contracts and service agreements.
On call rotation for dispatching weekend emergencies when necessary. All calls are booked through a service and placed into our software for minimal interaction over the weekend.

Job Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous HVAC dispatching/customer service experience.
Experience and utilizing judgment in order to plan and accomplish goals.
Follow up and follow through with technicians and customers to help maintain good customer relationships.
Must have computers skills and knowledge of applicable software.
Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, as summer hours may increase our call volume.

Check emails and our software to book calls with customers who have contacted us in many ways.

Ideal candidates will have the following customer service related skills:

A professional, positive, and courteous telephone manner to help customers in their time of need.
Ability to handle a multiple-lined phone system for a number of staff members.
Able to handle the urgency of each task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Is detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.

Strong interpersonal skills such as, communication, problem solving, and organizational.

Computer skills to include the following:

Ability to use Microsoft outlook, excel and word.

Use web-based software called ServiceTitan is preferred but not required

Additional skills that will be considered:

Previous HVAC knowledge or experience helpful.
Familiar with standard concepts of HVAC helpful.
