KenCCID provides caring, person-centered residential services for Individuals with develpmental and intellectual disabilities across Northeast Philadelphia. The HR Recruiter is directly responsible for effectively filling all KenCCID’s vacancies and maintaining a pool of part-time staff to cover direct care shift vacancies. This is a critical, strategic role for our agency, in terms of ensuring that all vacancies are filled and in terms of compliance. The HR Recruiter is expected to develop and leverage recruiting relationships through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, colleges and universities and employees to attract qualified candidates.
This is a full time, salaried, and exempt position. This position is currently full-time in the office, however, some remote hours may be considered for the right candidate. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.
Position Responsibilities
- Work with managers and the HR team to identify and meet needs around recruiting and orientation.
- Ensure that KenCCID conforms with all applicable regulations, statutes and collective bargaining agreement, regarding procedures and policies on recruiting and training.
- Ensure that recruitment and orientation is in compliance with applicable employment regulations.
- Develop and maintain an effective ongoing recruiting effort to meet KenCCID’s evolving needs for Direct Care Professionals and other organizational personnel.
- Effectively communicate key organizational standards, requirements and expectations to prospective candidates.
- Track key retention metrics including candidate source, screening score and relationship to candidate’s successful completion of new hire orientation, permanent shift assignment and probation.
- Research, recommend and utilize multiple sources for active and passive candidate recruiting including social media and other online platforms.
- Improve/update the KenCCID recruiting webpage to attract qualified candidates
- In coordination with Management, develop effective staffing strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and other Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and a minimum of 3 years applicable experience.
- Knowledge, understanding of, and ability to comply with, laws and regulations applicable to the recruiting function.
- Computer literate with experience in ADP, particularly Time and Attendance and ADP recruiting modules.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must be able to professionally and effectively understand and communicate in verbal and written English.
- Effective interpersonal and interview skills
- Sufficient organizational and analytical skills sufficient to create and maintain required HR files, track key position metrics, and comply with legal requirements applicable to position responsibilities.
- Proficient in using learning management systems to maintain compliance with credentialing and training requirements applicable to the position.
- Strong team player, problem solver, demonstrates sound judgment and high attention to detail and accuracy, maintains the confidentiality of private employee information.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
