Human Resources Coordinator Job at Pana Community Hospital
Pana Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled, results oriented human resource professional to join our team as its Human Resources Coordinator.
This position is responsible for the daily human resource functions for Pana Community Hospital and its related organizations. These functions include but are not limited to staff recruitment and retention, maintenance of a competitive compensation program, oversight and monitoring of benefit offerings, and maintenance of the Hospital’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This Coordinator will also ensure that the Human Resources functions of the Hospital meet the standards of the Hospital’s accrediting organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for advocating for and developing a strong workforce.
Qualifications include experience in or a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Experience would include three to five years in a human resources position, preferably in health care. A commitment to obtain certification as a Professional in Human Resources is required unless the candidate is already PHR Certified.
Pana Community Hospital is a high performing critical access hospital that focuses on providing exceptional care to the communities it serves. The Hospital has been providing services to Pana and the surrounding communities for over 108 years.
The HR Coordinator is a full-time, benefits eligible position with a Monday through Friday work schedule. The position reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
