FAMILY HEALTH CENTER OF SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA Tishomingo, OK 73460

The Human Resources Assistant is a member of the management team of the Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma. The primary responsibilities will be to perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR and Admin departments.
  • Assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and employee training.
  • Prepares HR related reports and paperwork.
  • Assists in the recruitment of potential new employees for all departments.
  • Participates in designated activities and projects for PCMH as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in related field preferred, but not required.
  • Prior related office experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
