Summary/Purpose
The Machine Operator A will load and unload O.D. or End grind equipment in the department and operate deburr stations.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Be able to 100% deburr while setter is changing set-up’s.
- Assist setters in locating master from the gage room.
- Look at job assignment boards and have next container available for process.
- Move work upon completion to the next operation.
- Complete proper paper work for production purposes.
- Responsible for all 5-S and general housekeeping daily. Perform major cleanup on the line as required.
- Support departmental goals concerning housekeeping, safety, quality, productivity, delivery and Standard Work/5s/Lean.
- Maintains knowledge of current quality and safety systems and other regulatory compliance related to this position.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as requested by Manager
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years plus experience in manufacturing processes

- Work is performed in a normal manufacturing area.
- This position has an exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, electrical power distribution and controls, compressed air systems, hydraulic systems, steam distribution and generation, water, various types of lubricants, chemical and wash baths, extreme heat, mechanical machine operation, etc.
- Will be regularly required to climb, stand, sit, and reach with hands, fingers, and arms.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required.
- This position requires regular lifting of work up to 40 pounds, and push or pulling work up to 125 pounds with proper equipment.
