Healthcare Data Analyst Job at Doylestown Health
PURPOSE OF JOB: The Healthcare Data Analyst will program and manage hospital-wide quality improvement measurement systems that drive system performance, improves clinical outcomes, enhances patient safety and enables management to make informed decisions on an on-going basis. The analyst will use both real time clinical and financial data as well as retrospective claims data as inputs, along with statistical analysis and predictive modeling, to support population health initiatives such as deployment of evidence based practice, care coordination and complex care management. The analyst supports the development of user accessible, data and visually rich dashboards that are used to help improve health system performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manages, develops, improves, and maintains current reports and dashboards including statistical / analytic charts and support quality, process improvement and population health projects. Develops logic and reporting programs to enable integration of data from multiple sources into a real time patient centered dashboard to enable reliable application of evidence based care, improved patient safety and population health. Performs activities related to statistical data analysis, trending, data presentation and benchmarking in order to provide decision support at senior management levels. Continuous design, development, evaluation and advancement of key performance indicator dashboards at unit and hospital-wide levels. Creates process control charts, pareto charts and other statistical analysis reports throught improvement project life cycle. Encodes, tests, debugs and documents programs for report and dashboard creation and deployment to users. Ensures accuracy of source data, database and report content. Works collaboratively with IT to optimize technology to continually improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting and analytic products.

Pay: $27.95 - $32.70 per hour
