Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.
We are currently in search of a Registered Nurse who has knowledge of physical health, behavioral health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities. This position will support a holistic, person-centered approach for coordinating the healthcare needs and wellness goals. The Health Home Nurse Care Manager is expected, through training and experience, to be able to exercise sound judgment independently.
$75k yearly salary with a $5k sign on bonus ($2k at hire, $3k at 6 months) and has up to $5k performance incentive bonuses annually. Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, disability, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more!
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred with relevant work experience which uniquely qualifies the individual for the job.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
  • Two years positively referenced work experience.
Skillsets:
  • Knowledge of the philosophy, principles, and methodology of nursing as they apply to our clients.
  • Knowledge of medications, side effects and therapeutic effects of prescribed medications.
  • Ability to administer and monitor medications.
  • Knowledge and experience with clinical assessment and bio- psychosocial therapies.
  • Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation philosophy and concepts for persons with disabilities.
  • Ability to work with others as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Effectively assess the functional capabilities, mental status, and needs of clients and referrals.
  • Ability to employ appropriate intervention in a range of clinical situations.
  • Perform health assessments, recognize symptoms, and plan and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Implement appropriate interventions for treatment plans and document services accordingly.
  • Ability to provide health education to staff & clients.
  • Conversant with electronic health records and data analytics.
