The EDGE COE Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling these systems in a harsh, zero-g environment. Are you willing to join this team and help solve these challenges in a team environment using your academic background and experience?

This role is specifically for a Hardware CPE for GNC Standard Products efforts. The candidate must be capable of performing Material Review Boards, Failure Review Board, Critical Design Reviews, Qualification Review Boards, Design and testing oversight of hardware throughout the Enterprise. Focus with be on IMU/gyros, star trackers, GPSRs, sun sensors, and MTRs but could develop into other product areas. In an effort to further broaden common products opportunities, the role will expand to explore potential overlap between space and missile products. A minimum TS clearance is required.

You will typically have a bachelor’s degree and 9 years of professional experience for this role.
Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree
• Knowledge of hardware products preferably IMU/gyros, star trackers, GPSRs, sun sensors, and MTRs as well as knowledge of GNC systems and operation
• Experience delivering aerospace flight hardware
• Experience working with subcontractor hardware development, including build, , and integration
• Possess an active TS clearance with willingness to acquire an SCI w/ poly

Desired Skills:

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Poly
• Previous experience presenting to senior management, as well as, customer team members.
• Experience with GNC Common Products and Processes
• Working knowledge of GNC Actuators and Sensors for Space Applications
• Experience with LM400
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated good skills with the ability to articulate complex issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
• Previous experience presenting to senior management, as well as, customer team members.
