Title: Guest Services Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Part time 16-29 hrs - Must be available for Saturdays

Saddleback was purchased by Boston-based Arctaris Impact Fund in January of 2020, as an investment in the recovery of the region's largest employer. As a result, our mission goes beyond getting the resort back on its feet and includes helping solve many of the challenges in rural communities. In addition to re-establishing Saddleback as one of the most iconic ski areas in the country, we are also working to increase affordable housing, access to childcare, providing seasonal workers with year-round benefits and increasing access to health and wellness care for families across the region. Making all these initiatives viable requires Saddleback Mountain perform at a high level and serve as the economic engine for the region. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part helping us build that.

Job Summary

Guest Services Representatives are the front line for guest satisfaction covering pre-arrival contact, sales of all mountain products and addressing concerns brought to departments attention. This position will communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction to staff in resort details with a focus on guest experience.

Essentials duties/ Responsibility

  • Receptionist duties, receiving and forwarding calls, and answering customer calls/concerns/emails.
  • Staying informed on all things Saddleback related (events, specials in pub, open job positions, etc.)
  • Sending text and communicating when SB communication systems, intranet and webpage is updated.
  • Order office supplies weekly or biweekly for all departments
  • Receiving (opening packages, signing packing slip and forwarding to accounting to match to invoice)
  • Maintaining phone list

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Strong communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor and ethics in dealing with guests, co-workers, and outside vendors
  • Develop strong working relationships with other department managers and directors to ensure communication and teamwork is at an optimum level
  • Ability to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to guests, executives and employees

Education and Experience

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
