The State Street Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for strategic leadership of State Street’s digital marketing strategy and manage complex digital marketing initiatives from concept to execution. This role is responsible for creating winning digital strategies that enable our brand to effectively engaging with our audience and turn prospects into clients, and clients into advocates. This role requires an innovative and strategic mind to lead the digital transformation of the marketing organization, instilling the processes and infrastructure necessary to boost brand awareness, client engagement, and sales. Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As Global Head of Digital Marketing, Senior Vice President you will

  • Develop corporate and business digital strategies, aligned to the integrated and cross-functional global marketing strategy, in order to support sales, drive revenue and increase market share.
  • Drive efforts to be on the forefront of digital approaches, including personalization, demand generation and client relationship management.
  • Lead the strategy, execution and management of State Street’s client facing websites to engage clients and create a demand generation engine that support the company’s business objectives
  • Oversee and develop inbound digital strategy including activities such as marketing automation, CRM integration, SEO and account-based marketing.
  • Redefine and maintain the organization’s search and social media presence to engage clients, colleagues and job applicants.

  • Translate data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and drive optimization efforts. Identify gaps or opportunities to improve the end-to-end customer experience across the multiple channels.
  • Create the KPIs to measure the success of the digital marketing campaigns. Oversee reporting, provide analysis on performance to goals, recommend changes in direction, and adjust budget allocations and resources as needed.
  • Lead and influence a global team and key stakeholders towards a common digital marketing vision. Drive a culture of innovation on the team and continually evaluate new and emerging digital marketing functionality, capabilities and technologies.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, Master degree preferred in marketing, digital marketing or technology or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing or similar field
  • 15+ years leadership experience
  • Operates as a continuous innovator and has a track record of implementing new techniques and technology
  • Ability to serve as a strategic leader and influencer while not being afraid to roll up their sleeves to solve problems.
  • Experience in creating web sites from ideation to launch that include UX strategy, creative design, content development, and technical development.
  • Experience owning and managing email and social media campaigns and marketing automation systems with expertise in A/B testing, personalization, segmentation and integration with CRMs
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with performance analytics, reporting tools and methodologies
  • Proficient knowledge of leading marketing website, social media and marketing analytics tools such as Adobe and Google Analytics, etc.

Salary Range:

$225,000 - $337,500 Annual
