General Maintenance Technician (Residential):
Duties, Requirements and Day-to-Day Responsibilities
We are looking for a part-time maintenance technician to join our team; or full-time maintenance and construction.

To be successful in this role, you need a good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and all-around maintenance skills. We need troubleshooters, thinkers, and problem solvers.

We are an established home rental company in Wisconsin. We pride ourselves in completing quality work in a timely manner.

Job Duties:
The right candidate for this job will be clean-cut, be a self-starter, have a can-do outlook, and be respectful of others' rights. Knowledge of the following is necessary: electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

The work schedule is expected to be Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in working hours depending on the needs of the rental. Must be available for on-call emergencies.

• Experience in carpentry, interior trim, floor and/or wall tile, and drywall experience will be what sets the ideal candidate apart from the crowd.
• Experience in electrical or plumbing trades also helpful.
• Dependable transportation and valid driver's license necessary.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
As a general maintenance technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain communications with Property Manager and tenants as needed.
• Schedule maintenance projects with the Property Manager and tenants within a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Establish a highly professional and positive rapport with Property Manager and Tenants.
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the tenant.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Adherence to all company workplace policies.

Requirements:Educational Requirements

• Maintenance or Construction Experience: 1 year (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

The company has purchased PPE, disinfectant spray, and sanitizer for our maintenance team members to use when visiting a tenant’s home. We schedule ahead with our tenants to assure proper social distance and confirm no active cases of Covid-19 are present.
