This general labor role will work with a small team to operate, maintain, and improve the facility. The desire to work in a team-oriented environment with flexibility to handle changing work assignments is important. Duties range from general maintenance to mowing facility grounds.
This job is based at our Indy Disposal Solutions facility in Speedway, Indiana. Stable and secure industry year-round with consistent hours. We are an essential business and have maintained full operation through the pandemic. A clean driving record is required and willingness to obtain Commercial Driver License with training and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Customer interaction
- Testing samples
- Completing customer paperwork
- Facility maintenance
- Greasing, lubricating equipment
- Skimming water tanks
- Cleaning
- Washing, sweeping floors
- Cleaning the office and restroom
- Washing down facility equipment
- Maintaining dump area
- Washing down ramp
- Clearing rocks and grit
- Monitoring of facility operations
- Grounds maintenance
- Mowing
- String trimming
- Spraying for weeds

- Critical thinking skills and strong communication

- Valid Driver License
