Dutch Pot Jamaican - General Help/Pot Washer
Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving foods. May perform such duties as preparing salad items, hot foods, and/or cold foods, and/or assisting in the prep area. Assist in cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils. May assist in the set up, and service; and collection of garbage/trash; as appropriate to the area of operation.
Dishwasher/ Pot Washer Roles and Responsibilities:
· Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled pots and pans, and preps** foods as needed. Keeps pot washing area free of clutter and organized
· Sets up pot washing stations
· Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shifts
· Properly washes, stacks and stores pots and pans
· Changes water in the sinks every 2 hours, or more (often) as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by Ecolab
· Assists with unloading the delivery trucks upon arrival to the store; and in the timely storing of food deliveries
· Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes throughout the day as need and at the end of the shift
· Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves
· Follows the posted daily pot and pans cleaning duties
· Assist with the panning of the food as need
** Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the Cook as needed. **
