Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time In-House Commercial General Contractor to assist in the greater Northern California region, with occasional travel to the East Coast and the Portland area. This position will be Monday through Friday with the autonomy to see projects from start to finish.

Job Description:

Manage major projects including new construction

· Review plans for accuracy

· Gather and right size multiple bids

· Establish the proper scope of the project

· Schedule work through contractors and subcontractors

· Track all project costs

· Establish project timelines and ensure adherence

- Gather all required permits

· Review invoices and request payments

· Conduct regular job site coordination meetings

Establish relationships and establish a list of preferred vendors

· Liaise between the Director, Regional Manager, and the contractors

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commercial construction

Experience in managing sub-contractors

Experience in managing construction projects as the builders PM

Experience performing the overall management of all aspects of construction projects

· A professional degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering), or construction technology is preferred.

· Detailed knowledge of construction project sequencing and scheduling

· Advanced knowledge of drawings and specifications

· Ability to write and effectively communicate project scope

· Strong communication skills both written and verbal

· Technology proficiency

· Must work well in a team environment

· Have a strong commitment to customer service

· Must live in the Bay Area and be willing to travel

· Have a valid driver’s license

· Salary plus bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
