Purpose/Objective :
The Capital Markets Pricing Analytics and Strategy Senior Analyst is responsible for development of pricing analytics, driving strategic decision-making, and supporting Home Mortgage (Both the Retail and Correspondent Channel) and Home Equity Lines of Business.
Supports the business by providing financial and competitive analysis to aid decision making. Responsibilities include delivering guidance to leadership team on functional KPIs, providing risk and controls monitoring, developing business cases for strategy/policy changes. Also supports firm's needs with respect to risk by ensuring that adequate controls, risk reporting and analysis processes are in place.

Key Accountabilities :
- Support pricing strategy, new product development, financial impact analysis and mortgage pipeline reporting & analytics.
- Support balance sheet optimization strategy through loan sale transaction support, portfolio segmentation, pool analysis, best-execution and cash flow analysis.
- Manage and improve the daily pricing process across multiple channels for both portfolio product and sold loans.
- Provide mortgage subject-matter expertise to help develop and refine the Home Mortgage data infrastructure
- Extract and prepare data from multiple sources, internal and external, for analysis and presentation to an Executive level audience.
- Create ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested to support business risk management and decision making.
- Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.
Education:
- Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science or like discipline preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years of Financial Services experience required
- 3+ years of relevant Mortgage Secondary Marketing/Capital Markets experience preferred
- Mortgage pricing experience highly preferred
- Experience with BI Tools a plus
- Encompass, Meridian Link and Optimal Blue experience a plus
- Programming experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in financial analysis and clear presentation of results to senior leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts via PowerPoint
- Strong MS Excel and SQL skills
