The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public Career and Technical Education District (CTED) providing tuition-free career and technical education (CTE) programs to high school students – public, charter, and home-schooled – and tuition-based programs to adults who reside in 11 school districts in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

EVIT offers over 40 CTE programs at four centralized campuses. Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams. EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year. Two out of three EVIT students go on to college.
The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is currently accepting applications for FT Permanent Substitute. The candidate chosen for this position with be a substitute for our Cosmetology program at our Power location. On days when the candidates does not have a substitute assignment, the candidate will be assisting with other administrative duties. This is a full-time, 10 month position. Typical hours are: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. The hourly slary for this position is $23.00.
