Responsibilities:
  • Develop and work within custom CMS for Ticket Sales, Retail, and specific content pages across the BKSE network of websites
  • Oversee and maintain all pages across the BKSE network of websites. This includes, but is not limited to updates, publishing, design, links, etc.
  • Publish all written, video and audio content on enterprise-wide websites and/or mobile apps
  • Manage and strategize paid digital campaigns and ROS on across the enterprise
  • Manage external BKSE sites and microsites including but not limited to: VGKLifestyle.com, VGKWorldwide.com, etc.
  • Write clean code to develop functional web applications and custom page buildouts to support Ticket Sales, Marketing, Sponsorship and Community Relations initiatives
  • Maintain all enterprise-wide homepages and/or interior pages with relevant content produced by the BKSE content team
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications across both web and mobile app-based applications
  • Maintain and support business analytics platforms as needed (i.e. ad hoc querying of the BKSE data warehouse)
  • Conduct and write relational and multidimensional database queries
  • Create impactful visualizations and reports for requested projects across the BKSE enterprise
  • Assist Foley Food and Wine Society, Foley Family Wines and Rock Creek Cattle Company as needed
  • Manage and seek out cutting edge technologies with a keen eye for innovation into emerging markets
  • Stay on cutting-edge of web technologies and best practices
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements across the enterprise
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use using version control
  • Manage the relationship with all web development third-party vendors
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems that will drive seamless and automated business processes
  • Explore and develop web-based initiatives that cultivate fan engagement
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements and uncover areas of need that will improve the overall BKSE technology stack
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer is preferred
  • Expert in front-end languages (HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
  • Hands on experience with modern programming languages, preferably Python and PHP
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Experience working within or building on CMS platforms: WordPress, Drupal, etc.
  • Ability to use version control: Git, SVN, Mercurial
  • Background in data warehouse schema design and data mining is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (extract, transform, load) framework
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Familiarity with BI technologies
  • Knowledge and ability to create digital motion graphics preferred
  • Ability to adapt, learn and grow with team approach and philosophy
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy, overall product quality and essential details
  • Possess a strong organizational, time/project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong oral, problem solving, time management, communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, selective Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights home games, Dollar Loan Center events and holidays as required
