Forklift Operator - Up to $1500 Sign-on Bonus!

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to unload, load and organize freight within a retail warehouse setting. The Forklift Operator will work under the direction and supervision of the Warehouse Department Head as well as the supervision of the Store Management team.

Duties & Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Unloading product that is being received into the store warehouse in a safe manner
• Receiving and processing freight as directed
• Staging and moving freight within the warehouse and outdoor storage areas
• Backstocking and organizing freight in warehouse and designated overstock areas
• Safe loading of defective product and transfer goods to be sent to L&M Distribution Center
• Safe loading of customer purchases into vehicles and trailers
• Industrial truck maintenance and general housekeeping assingments as directed
• Other warehouse tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent degree
• 1 year of work experience operating a forklift or related equipment (proof of previous certification required)
• In-depth knowledge of proper forklift and equipment operating procedures & safety protocol
• In-depth knowledge of proper techniques for loading trucks
• Knowledge of receiving and warehouse procedures preferred
