POSITION: Food Service Director/ GM

LOCATION: St Luke's Hospital / Bethlehem

DIVISION: Healthcare

SALARY: 100k range, with Relocation and Sign On Bonus package 15K

Fueled by recent promotional opportunities, Metz Culinary has an immediate opening for a Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in our Healthcare Division at Bethlehem Hospital, the FLAGSHIP of the St Luke’s University Health Network. The successful candidate will have exhibited progressive management experience within the hospital environment, preferably at a large, teaching hospital.

The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility for all aspects of the food service operation, managing a departmental budget in excess of $8M including patient feeding (ADC 290), two retail outlets consisting of $2.5M in annual sales and a vibrant catering service of $250k. The General Manager reports to the Hospital President and the Metz District Manager.
Requirements:

  • 5+ Plus Years of progressive experience within a Hospital Food Service Management position or 7+ Years of progressive of progressive food management experience outside of a hospital environment
  • Demonstrated skills in ensuring top quartile patient satisfaction
  • Strong track record of training and developing high performing teams while driving employee engagement
  • Financial acumen including developing and managing complex budgets
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • BS Degree a strong plus
