The Field Service Technician represents the equipment manufacturer by interfacing with our customers and proves troubleshooting repair service to Door Systems (DS) and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) for our different projects. Your daily tasks will consist of assembling, repairing and retrofitting different parts with small and medium components as well as reporting. Our products are destined to passenger rail cars.
- Act as a liaison between Customer's On-Site Representative and SEMEC with regard to any technical matters related to the DS & APU.
- Provide technical services/support for any events related to the Door System and the Auxiliary Power Unit.
- Prepare and produce Field Service Report in accordance with the Customer's requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting work on the Door System (DS) and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU).
- Perform Field Service Modifications as per Customer's instructions.
- Provide Training to Client's Technicians.
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliability
- Punctuality
- Good manual dexterity is a must
- A background in Electro-Mechanical repairs is major asset
- Strong Analytical abilities to detect and resolve problems
- The ability to pass a security clearance
- A valid drivers license

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
