To teach in Dunwoody’s Computer Technology Programs, candidates need to have their Bachelor’s Degree combined with a minimum of five years of experience in the hands on work of information technology. You also have the option to further your credentials through Dunwoody’s tuition reimbursement program.

Through our individualized and responsive new faculty orientation, you will learn the principles of effective instruction including how to develop curriculum, identify how your students learn best, and become acclimated to the overall culture of teaching on our campus. What we expect from you is a passion for your industry you can share with your students and a determination to provide the best educational experience to the next generation of makers, fixers, and doers.
As a full time, in person faculty member... What You Will Get To Do:
- Design and develop curriculum that follows new industry trends
- Create exciting labs and lectures that captivate your students
- Share your personal on-the-job experiences from industry
- Act as advisor and mentor to students and alumni
- Network with other professionals & build ties to industry
- Share your passion and excitement for the electrical industry with prospective students and their families
Qualifications:
- At least three years of industry experience and/or/combination of college teaching experience in any combination of these technologies and or platforms:
- Cybersecurity
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- VMware VCenter
- Cisco Network administration
- AWSMS Azure
- MS 365
- At least one higher level industry certification preferred: CCNA, CCNP, AWS Architect associate, MS 365 Enterprise admin, MS Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCAP, RedHat RHCE.
Bachelor’s degree required
