Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Planning building maintenance and operational programs
- Managing all vendor contracts
- Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems
- Preparing operating reports and budgets
- Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
- Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
- Managing facilities planning and space allocation
- Preparing cost estimates for moves and equipment
- Managing maintenance of grounds
- Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
- Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers
- Coordinating building security and maintenance services
- Managing and supervising all facilities personnel
- Overseeing all building functions
- Responsible for Wastewater duties.
- Works with EHS to support safety related functions related to the building.
- Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
- Preparing and filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including building related permitting
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree; bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred. Or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification in facilities management a plus

- Computer skills; may include scheduling with Microsoft Office, SAP or similar software, Excel and Power Point.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, company policies, and sales programs. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure guidelines. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, other employees, customers, and sales representatives.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical written, verbal, or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
